This document describes the use of templates in determing the look and feel of your survey.
Templates are used to define the look and feel of all surveys. Each survey must be associated with a template, and any number of surveys can be associated to a single template. Templates can be assigned to a survey in the “Survey Options” screen.
If you do not assign a template to your survey, the “default template” will be used.

There are also two public templates available that incorporate the UW Madison logo and the UW System logo.
To access the list of available Templates, click on the Templates icon
in the tool bar. You will then see a listing of all templates that you own, or that have been assigned public access by the owner. To see what each template looks like, click on the Preview icon
located to the right of the Template Name.

If the template is public, you will have the ability to preview and assign the template to your surveys. If you are the owner, you will also have the ability to edit and delete the template.
For more information on creating templates, please see WebSurvey@UW - Creating a Template.
