My WebSpace (Mac) - Downloading Goliath and Configuring WebDAV for OS 10.3 and Earlier

This document gives instructions on how to set-up WebDAV on a Macintosh with My WebSpace using Mac OS 10.3 and previous versions.

Obtaining Software

Opening up a Connection to My WebSpace:

1. To open a new connection, launch Goliath.
2. Click on file and then on New Connection.



3. Please enter https://mywebspace.wisc.edu/NetID, replacing NetID with your University of Wisconsin - Madison NetID. The My WebSpace server also requires a user name and password; please enter your NetID and password in the appropriate fields.
4. To open a session that points to another user's directory where you have been given the appropriate access, simply add a directory with the name https://mywebspace.wisc.edu/NetID/directoryname replacing NetID with the other user's NetID and directoryname with the name of the shared directory.
5. Once connected, you will see a window that provides access to your files on the My WebSpace server.
