This document explains WebDAV.
Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) allows you to use a remote web server as though it were a local file server. This means you have local access to your My WebSpace file directories and can use your computer's file manager to upload and download multiple files.
You can view, manage, move, copy, save, and rename the files and directories in your My WebSpace account just as you would perform the same actions in file manager. In particular, you can drag and drop files between the My WebSpace directory and other directories on your local computer.
WebDAV is a function of the OS. The My WebSpace application works well with the WebDAV interfaces in MS Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
For more information on setting up a WebDAV connection, please see My WebSpace - Uploading Multiple Files and Folders.
