You may be unable to find an individual to add to your My WebSpace contact list if the individual has privacy flagged their information under the FERPA provisions.
If a user has privacy flagged any of their user information under FERPA, then the My WebSpace application will not be able to find them in a search. If you would like to share files with an individual that has requested this level of privacy, you have several options.
You may use the ticket option within the My WebSpace application. For more information on how to create tickets for files, please see My WebSpace - How do I share files by creating "tickets"?
You may also make the directory or file that you wish to share available to all users using the Sharing option. Or you can store the files in the other person's account and have them share the space with you. Please see My WebSpace - Sharing Files or My WebSpace - Sharing Directories for further information on your sharing options.
