Update on Learn@UW Issues

Learn@UW had been experiencing performance problems since the start of the Fall '05 semester. We've stabilized performance since. However, we are aware of the following outstanding issues:

  1. Users may receive an error message, such as "Internal Server Error - 500," especially when attempting to log into Learn@UW. If you experience this error, please try the function again. Learn@UW is proactively monitoring the environment for these errors and can alleviate the situation.

  2. Users may notice additional verbage in certain tools, however, overall functionality is not affected. For more information, see the article, "Learn@UW - Term Not Found Errors and Object Reference Errors" at http://helpdesk.wisc.edu/page.php?id=4022

  3. Updates to this news item will occur as developments warrant.

The Utility is actively working with vendors and developers to investigate and solve these problems as quickly as possible. Learn@UW techs continue to actively monitor the situation in cooperation with our vendors (D2L and Microsoft).
